2013 R35 Nissan Gtr

Who is AustinMcDirty_Gtr?
AustinMcDirty_Gtr's real name is Austin Mclean. He is currently a marine, and has been on active duty for over 7 years now for the USMC. He initially enlisted in the military due to the war on terror, and since then he's stuck around. Outside of the military, he's very passionate about cars. First started off with a 2006 v6 Mustang, that he got in high school. As he went off to the marines, he saved up his money and got himself a 2009 GT500. After he bought the 09 GT500, that's when he got hooked into all of the car stuff. He built that car up to 800whp and after a couple of deployments and having to save up for many years, he sold the car and got himself the sky blue wrapped 2013 R35. After getting the R35 he joined a group called "GT_RMY" that is a car community for only skyline and Gtr owners. Outside of the military and cars he does have another passion, which is surfing. It's something that he does on a regular basis, and love's to revolve his life around it.
Engine and performance
When it come's to what is under the hood of the car, there's a twin - turbocharged 3.8 liter v6 engine. It put's out 542 horsepower and 466 lb-ft of torque. Those numbers are what the car comes with from the factory. But when he first got the Gtr instead of it being factory numbers, it already had a GT800R kit installed. Which right off the bat jumps the car to a whole new level power wise. But having that kit wasn't enough for him. Recently he got RDE1000 turbos installed and a RDE built block. With those parts installed on the car, it makes over 1000 horsepower (doesn't want us to know the exact numbers yet since he's not done with the build yet).

Back of car
The back of the car looks quite stunning with what has been done to it so far. When it comes to what spoiler he has on the car, its a carbon fiber duckbill spoiler. Personally, I like the duckbill spoiler on the car way better than the stock spoiler. It just looks more aesthetically appealing, and adds that unique look to the car. When looking at the taillights you'll also notice they look a little different. They got blacked out, and it suit's his car way better than just leaving them red. If you look down from the taillights to the diffuser, it's also not stock. It got switched out for a rocket bunny diffuser. I've seen some mixed opinions on it, but personally I like it a lot. It's something different, and it really pop's out the backend of the car to make it look more aggressive.
Side of car
Moving on from the backend of the car to the side of the car, a couple of things had been changed. First off, decals were added by the back wheels on the car. Something like that is very small modification wise, but adds that racecar type of vibe to the car. Then shifting our focus to the wheels, they are stock Gtr wheels that are painted black. They aren't anything fancy like you see on other super cars, but I am pretty sure the wheels will be changed to something else soon. Moving along to the front side fenders, they also got replaced. They got replaced with carbon fiber fenders, which looks absolutely stunning on the car. With the car being wrapped sky blue, that carbon fiber really stands out and it gravitates your attention to that area of the car.
Front of car
As we move from the side of the car to the front of the car, the scenery just keeps getting better and better. The stock hood that came with the car was replaced with a carbon fiber front hood. That carbon fiber hood along with those carbon fiber fenders, really changes the whole look of the car. But the carbon fiber takeover doesn't end there. Currently Austin has a "Top Racing" carbon fiber racing bumper that will be installed in a few days. And on top of that he also has custom canards being built for the front bumper. Once all of those pieces come together and are on the car at the same time, it's going to look incredible. His plan with the carbon fiber doesn't end there though. Eventually he want's the whole car to be 100% carbon fiber. The front of the car is really only the beginning to his grand scheme.
Favorite modification done to car so far:
Front bumper
When I asked Austin why it was his favorite modification done to the car so far, this is what he had to say:
"It's my favorite because I'm doing totally custom work on it. Custom canards that you don't see on any other Gtr's and really you don't see that bumper around anywhere either. It's just such a unique setup and that's what I love about it" (1/3)
"It being carbon is just an added bonus" (2/3)
"Most people go with just body kits but I'm taking a bunch of things from different styles and making them my own" (3/3)
My final thoughts on AustinMcDirty_Gtr...
My overall opinion on Austin's car is that it's an incredible build so far. The amount of power that it produces is mind boggling. It has an amazing sky blue wrap that just really makes his car vibrant and unique from other car's that are out on the road. But on top of that, those carbon fiber parts make his car stand out even more than it did before. Which is why I say that his car is truly a masterpiece, and I can't wait to see what else will be done to it in the upcoming future.
