2015 Nissan GTR

When it comes to ED's GTR it came stock with a 3.8L v6 engine with 545 horsepower and 463 pound feet torque. Which are pretty respectable numbers for a stock car. The original color of the car is black, along with red trimming. The first thing that was on ED's bucket list was to change the exhaust system. The stock exhaust sounds pretty good on the GTR. But it got switched out for a 102mm Armytrix exhaust system. It's not the loudest exhaust system out there, but it still sounds pretty good on the GTR. The second thing that was actually added to the car not to long after the new exhaust were carbon fiber side skirts. I've always been a fan of side skirts, and on his GTR my love for side skirts applies to it. It looks absolutely stunning on the car, and just makes that area of the car stand out more, compared to having no side skirts. When it comes to what wheels he had back when the car was still black, they were stock 20 inch wheels with Mpss 285/335 tires. Which are pretty meaty tires, that offer amazing grip when out on the road. Not sure if he still runs those same tires or if he's switched them up, but those were the tires he used to run.
After having the car black for about 7 months, ED decided to wrap the car atomic teal. When I first witnessed this color on the GTR, I was blown away. It look's breathtaking and just really illuminates all of the details on the car. The wheels were the next thing that was to be changed on the car. The stock GTR wheels got switched out for Advan GT wheels. Those wheels have a nice clean design to them and really suit his GTR well. Another small mod that was done to the car was that he got a custom license plate. Since it's his instagram handle, he decided to make the plate say "GTR ED". It's nothing big or anything but when I stumbled across this on his profile, I thought that it was quite interesting. Also when it comes to his stock spoiler he had been using it since he got the car. Honestly, I like the stock spoiler, it's one of the better looking one's in the car industry. But the new one that he got to replace it with, tops the stock spoiler. The new one is a Espirt wing, and it's a pretty big wing compared to the other one. It just adds that aggressive look and sporty vibe to the car when you look at it. You can see what it looks like on the photo to the left. The picture of the GTR was taken at Acto Dragway. On that day he drag raced with the GTR and ran a low 11 on the 1/4 mile. Which isn't to bad of a time for it still being stock.
When it comes to the interior of his car, the seats, steering wheel, and anywhere else you see red is amber red leather. And if you take a look at the steering wheel there is carbon fiber on it. Along with some more carbon fiber by the dials in the middle under the screen. Personally, I am in love with the color scheme in the car. The colors all seem to compliment each other well, and the materials all seem to look good and sturdy. One thing though that has been changed since this picture was taken was the steering wheel. It got replaced with a carbon fiber steering wheel. The original wheel looked amazing already, but the new one blew my mind when I first saw it. It has more grooves and looks a bit smaller than the original one, which adds that extra driver engagement when out on the road. The next thing that was changed on the GTR were the small side vents. They used to just be pure black vents, but ED decided to switch it up with carbon fiber side vents. The black one's alone looked great on the car, but the carbon fiber one's are on a whole new level. The small details on car's always win me over. It really displays the owners creativity and passion for what they want the car to look like. And as you can see on ED's beautiful GTR he really likes those small details. It just makes it stand out more from others with the same car out there. When it comes to the performance of the car, it's pretty much stock. So its running stock hp and torque. But, ED has mentioned that he will be getting the GTR tuned one of these days. Getting it tuned in his case would be very beneficial since he tracks the car a lot.
My final thoughts...
Looking back at his GTR and seeing what he's done to it, It makes me fall in love with the car even more. From what color he chose to wrap the car, to the wheels he chose, and the different small details that were incorporated into the car. It really makes the car stand out from others while out on the road. He'll also be doing a tune sometime soon, and I hope he gets some other parts to make the GTR look even better than it is right now. Going into the future, I can't wait to see what else will be done with this car.
